The
Wyre Forest Repeater Group is a small informal group of radio amateurs who are
responsible for the
construction
and use of amateur radio repeaters in the district. The Wyre Forest district is
located in the
Northern
part of the County of Worcestershire in the central part of the UK and covers
the towns of
Kidderminster,
Stourport on Severn and Bewdley.
WFRG
currently operate one analogue FM repeater GB3KR, the Midlands first D-Star Digital repeater
GB7WF
and now an APRS Ui-Server on 144.800MHz MB7UBY.
The
group’s aim is to build and maintain repeaters in the Wyre Forest district for
the benefit of all
radio
amateurs.
